Mark Allen

Tennis Teaching Professional

From the red clay courts of New Hampshire to the grass courts of New Zealand, he has honed his skills and shared his passion for the game with students of all levels. Previously, Mark served as the Head Coach of the Nansemond-Suffolk Boys Tennis Team for five years, demonstrating his dedication to coaching and player development. In 2008, Mark was chosen as one of three USPTA tennis professionals to participate in the Philippines Goodwill tennis tour, where he provided free lessons and clinics to communities across five cities. Under the guidance of esteemed tennis coach Mark Elliott, Mark further refined his teaching abilities and deepened his understanding of the sport. He is pursuing his official pickleball coaching certification to serve our community better.

Jack Schwolow

Pickleball Teaching Professional

Jack Schwolow, a cornerstone of Western Tidewater's tennis community, honed his skills at Cypress Cove Country Club under former professional Margo Winter. Distinguished as a 4-time District Champion at Franklin High School and a standout player for Christopher Newport University, Jack boasts accolades like the #1 Doubles Conference Champion title in 1993. With roles from Tennis Professional at Kingsmill Resort & Club in Williamsburg, VA, to various volleyball coaching positions, and as an inaugural WTTA Board Member and current Teaching Professional, Jack's commitment to the sport is unwavering. (Please note, Jack is not currently accepting new private lessons.)
