Dear Supporters of Faulkner Tennis Center,

We are reaching out to you regarding the urgent need for assistance at the Faulkner Tennis Center (FTC), once the premier public tennis facility in northeast Texas.  Unfortunately, the Center now requires significant support to restore its courts. Currently, six courts are in need of resurfacing.  While FTC is not in the City of Tyler’s budget at this time, they have generously offered to match any donations that we receive from this campaign moving forward.  

We are appealing to businesses, foundations and individuals to contribute to this important cause.  Your donation will directly fund the resurfacing of all six courts. Should we exceed our fundraising goal, any additional funds will be dedicated exclusively to further tennis-related repairs and maintenance.   

Tyler was recently named one of the top twenty-five cities in Texas, yet our region continues to rank among the lowest in physical health, according to FitCity Tyler. The Faulkner Tennis Center is an asset to our community, providing a unique space for physical activity and recreation.  It is our responsibility to preserve this resource for current and future generations.

All donations are tax-deductible, and checks should be made payable to The City of Tyler-FTC.  We encourage you to share this message with others who may be interested in supporting the Faulkner Tennis Center’s restoration efforts.
