Thank you for joining us for the CTA Coffee Hour this morning. We always enjoy this time with you, and it was wonderful to see such active participation.

As promised, I wanted to provide you with a few important reminders and some additional information:

  1. CTA Learning Series - Fundraising is So Much Easier Than You Think | Tuesday, August 13th at 12:00 pm | JOIN WEBINAR
  2. Adult Competitive Coordinator Position - Deadline: Thursday, August 15th | LEARN MORE
  3. Advocacy Specialist Program - APPLY HERE
  4. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Grant Opportunities: 2024 LOCAL EFFORTS GRANT and 2024 AD-IN GRANT
  5. Capital Area Tennis Association's Video - CLICK HERE
  6. Adult Red Ball Tennis Pilot - LEARN MORE | REGISTER PROGRAM
  7. Tennis Industry Experience - A stand-alone event (or in conjunction with one of your existing events - Junior Tournament, JTT Playoffs, etc.) that highlights all of the greater roles in the tennis industry. Kids/young adults are introduced to professionals (stringers, manufacturers, trainers, nutritionists, etc.) on-site where they can learn about the professional's role in tennis, learn about the professional's journey to this role, and can ask questions and/or participate in a sample of what the role entails. (See Attached Document)

If your CTA  would like to host a Tennis Industry Experience through the end of 2024, USTA Texas will grant up to $750 to help fund the event (stand-alone or as part of an existing event). For a link to the grant application, please reach out directly to Katy Rogers or to your local CSC. If you have questions on how to structure the event, please reach out to Troy Toole (tooletimetennis@gmail.com) or Carrie Hale (chale@texas.usta.com) for more information.

Thank you once again for your participation and commitment to our tennis community. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Best,

Katy Rogers (she/her)
