Murray Elbourn

President

Murray Elbourn is an accomplished executive with a proven track record in disability sports leadership and strategic program development. Formerly the CEO of Disability Sports Australia, he has led numerous initiatives that expanded access to inclusive sports for blind and low vision athletes. As President of USBTA, Murray is focused on advancing the Association's national impact through robust partnerships, innovative player pathways, and sustainable growth.

Corey Grandstaff

Treasurer

Corey Grandstaff is a seasoned leader with deep experience in nonprofit finance, disability services, and advocacy. As the Associate Director of Transition and Residential Programs at the Washington State School for the Blind, Corey has played a pivotal role in shaping educational and residential services for blind and low vision students. His extensive leadership in the National Federation of the Blind of Washington and other local initiatives strengthens his commitment to ensuring that blind tennis becomes an accessible and sustainable sport nationwide. As Treasurer of USBTA, Corey is dedicated to fostering financial stability and supporting the organization’s growth through strategic fiscal planning.

Dr. Jennifer Roth

Director of Curriculum and Education

Dr. Jennifer Roth is a founding member of the U.S. Blind Tennis Association and a leader in the intersection of sports science and adaptive tennis. As a professor at Carlow University and an expert in cognitive neuroscience, Jennifer’s research focuses on sound tracking in blind and low vision sports. She combines her academic expertise with a passion for philanthropy to drive innovative solutions for blind tennis athletes. With a strong foundation in both research and practical application, Jennifer is committed to advancing the educational framework and curriculum for blind and low vision tennis players across the U.S.

Dr. Premilla Banwait

Director of Corporate Relations

Dr. Premilla Banwait is a clinical leader and public health advocate with extensive experience in improving access to eye care and health outcomes. As Vice President of Clinical Programs at UnitedHealthcare Vision, Premilla oversees national initiatives aimed at enhancing vision care for millions of members. A passionate advocate for accessibility in sports, she brings a unique blend of healthcare leadership and a personal commitment to adaptive sports. With a background in optometry and public health, Premilla is focused on expanding corporate partnerships to raise awareness and drive sponsorship for blind and low vision tennis through USBTA.

Teisha Gillespie

Director of Marketing

Teisha Gillespie is a seasoned marketing professional with 14 years of experience in strategic communications, brand development, and digital marketing. Born with a vision condition, Teisha has always been driven by a deep passion for disability empowerment and equity. In her role as Director of Marketing for USBTA, Teisha leverages her expertise to amplify the organization's presence, foster engagement, and increase participation in BLV tennis nationwide. Throughout her career, Teisha has held leadership roles at several nonprofits and education organizations, driving successful campaigns and initiatives that elevate brands and connect communities. Teisha also serves as the Communications Chair for the National Federation of the Blind (NFB) of Virginia and previously served as a disability ERG Co-Chair and an ambassador for the Lion’s Club.
