Divisions - Players may enter 2 divisions. The Tournament Director understands that scheduling conflicts may occur. I encourage all participants to be available to play during the week of the tournament, I will allow for exceptions with prior notification and a valid reason within reason which will be determined by the tournament director. 

Singles $25.00 per player

Doubles $17.50 per player ($35.00 per team)

Schedule - First round matches will begin at 6:00pm Sunday, June 21.  The lights will be on until 11:00pm each evening.  Players must arrive 15 minutes prior to their match.  All matches are estimated time and players will enter the courts when available.  Open divisions will play best out of three sets.  Divisions 45 and over will play 2 sets with a 10-point tiebreak in the third set to determine the match. There will be a B-Flight for players who lose their first match.  B-Flight will play a 10-game pro set.  Matches will be listed on our website at playtennis.usta.com/harrisonburgtennispatrons. 

*Due to the fact that we do not have access to indoor courts, please note on your entry form if you are available to play during the day during the week of the tournament. Thank you!

Letter From the Director

Welcome to the 2026 HTP Open Doubles Tennis Tournament.  HTP strives to provide the community with a tournament every year.  This website will be the site to find tournament information, the schedule, weather updates and scores from played matches.  The schedule will be posted in advance so you can plan your evenings during the week.  We will be playing at Eastover Tennis Courts and Purcell Tennis Courts if necessary.  If there is question about rain, please check the website for updates. 

 We have given an All-Around Championship award in the past to the player who wins their division in more than one division.  

We will give out a Don Fankhauser Sportsmanship Award after the tournament ends.  The tournament Director, Coordinator and Volunteers will determine who will be chosen for this award.
