About this league

Players interested in participating in this league, must have a Clarksville Tennis Association membership as well as sign the CTA waiver. Once players have done so, they will contact the league coordinator with a screenshot of the CTA waiver signed, their first and last name, email, phone number, and NRTP rating to sign up for the singles ladder. Players will then receive a google spreadsheet with other players contact info, the rules, and results. An initial ranking for the ladder will be set by the league coordinator based upon the players NRTP rating. You can challenge a player up to 5 rankings above you and can accept a challenge from anyone up to 5 places lower than you. All matches will be scheduled between players and they must supply their own balls.

League rules

Match dates, times, and court reservations are to be arranged by players. The format will be best of 3 sets. First 2 sets will have a 7-point tie-breaker (win by 2 points) at 5 games all. The 3rd set will be a straight 10-point tie-breaker (win by 2) i.e. no games - go straight into the tie-breaker. Players who do not show up for a match will forfeit the match and move 2 rankings down on the ladder and the other player will not move up the ladder. If a lower ranked player wins the match, the players will switch places on the ladder (the ladder will be updated by the league coordinator). Players should try and play at least 1 match every 2 weeks.
