Check-In for Tournament Play
-
A player arrives at CFL and remains in his/her vehicle**. **If the player has a scheduled warm-up court or pro-warm up, he/she proceeds through the front desk check-in as described below^.
-
The player checks-in on the Match!Tennis app and waits for the tournament director to call the contestants for the match to begin. While waiting, the player agrees to the mandated digital USTA waiver on the Match!Tennis app. Tournament players may not participate if they fail to sign the digital USTA waiver.
-
The tournament director will call for each tournament participant using the Match!Tennis app at the appropriate match starting time (as a court is available).
-
^Each player and up to one parent/guardian spectator proceeds to the CFL front desk, socially distanced from non-related others and with face coverings, for temperature check by the front desk staff member. Each individual completes the CFL health questionnaire. If a tournament player enters any response to the CFL health questionnaire as “Yes”, or the player has a temperature over 100 degrees F., the individual must immediately leave CFL. His or her match will not take place and the scheduled opponent will win by default. The same protocol exists for any parent/guardian with the player should he/she demonstrate any item in section 4.a immediately above. That is, the match is cancelled and the scheduled opponent wins by match default. Matches are not rescheduled due to COVID-19 health related issues.
-
The front desk staff member provides each tournament player with one can of new tennis balls. The tournament director provides new, unopened cans of tennis balls. Note the number on the balls. Each player should have a different number to play with.
-
The player enters the court as described in Section 4 (door by court 2).
-
The spectator, if present, may sit at one of the designated socially-distanced seats.
