Barker currently is in her second season as the head coach of the Golden Tigers tennis team. During her career, Barker most recently served as the Assistant Tennis and Pickleball Professional at the Dalton Golf & Country Club where she provided lessons, clinics, and served as a coach in the club’s junior program. She was also assistant coach at Christian Heritage School in Dalton, GA where she helped lead the girls team to their first state appearance and first region finals in program history in 2021 and the boys team to a region championship title in 2023.

She also served as Graduate Assistant Tennis Coach at her alma mater, Berry College, where she worked with both the men's and women's teams. While a student at Berry, Barker earned both an MBA and a bachelor's degree in exercise science and was a standout player for the Vikings. She served as a two-year team captain and earned all conference accolades in 2018, 2019, and 2022, All-Tournament as a freshman in 2018, and All SAA Academic Honor Roll in 2018, 2020, and 2022. 

She holds multiple certifications from the Racquet Sports Professionals Association.
