Minutes of 2021 Annual General Meeting held Feb. 1, 2022

1. Noon: Meeting called to order
2. Review agenda & plan meeting
3. Approve Minutes from previous meeting (all decisions unanimous, moved by Gary seconded by Melody)
4. Treasurer's report approved as presented <HL> Actuals through 2021 (no 2020) + budget
5. 12:13 Approved new website, change registrar of "NeTxCTA.org" to nameCheap.  Cancel hosting at Wix.
6. PR officer report and reports from other officers
7. League reviews: USTA adult & JTT <HL> Adult Stats and JTT Stats
   1. ALC: Judy presented league stats to date 
   2. JTT presented by Mark, JTT coordinator for section.  
8. 12:25 Report from USTA-TX Community Service Coordinator (trainings, happenings, ....
9. Hosting Sectionals plans: JTT Spring, Ben is super helpful planning for May 21-22 tournament
   Likely we are hosting an adult sectional in the fall
10. Tyler Pro Tournament  
    1. Tyler Athletic and Swim [TASC] will host again this year. They are working to make it a $125 tournament (form current $80.000)
    2. Motion to support the tournament again this year at the $5,000 or possibly $7,000 tabled until more financial, associated activity and fundraising opportunities information available
    3. What other non-profits or charities are involved that will allow us to further brand our contributions or associated fundraising efforts?
11. New Business
    1. 1/27 Facility grants for 2022 up to $50,000 <HL>  guidelines here
    2. 1/25 Serve tennis webinar by Peter Hall at ClubSpark. 
       Complete club management website free to USTA Organization members

    3. Deb and Edward applied for the Comprehensive grant (announced 12/17)
       which replaces Capacity Building Grant for 2022

       (under "Adult Leagues " page)

    7. 12:45 11/16 Hope open back to Spring, April 22-24, <HL> sponsorship form 
       1. Motion to support the Hope for $2,500 silver level to get logo on T-shirts
       2. Activites: team competition, Clinics at Eagles Bluff by Luke Griffen,  raffle
    8. ​​11/12 <HL> Coalition registration approved - insurance forms completed for 2022
    9. 11/9 <HL>TCTA registration at USTA approved, TCTA 990N approved
    10. 11/9 Parks USTA news letter had <HL> CTA Health Check and <HL> CTA Resources 
    11. 10/28 NETX board of directors met and approved 2022 officers
    12. 10/28 TCTA BOD met and approved 2022 officers.
