I am the founder of Rockingham County Tennis Association and served as their Executive Director from 2014-22.  I am a PTR Certified Level 1 tennis coach, a member of USTACoaching.com, and a trained Abilities Tennis OnSite coach.  My current tennis advocacy efforts include developing the youth tennis pathway for Rockingham County Schools athletes and growing tennis participation at Lifestyle Fitness & Tennis in Mayodan, NC. My passiion is RED BALL TENNIS, using slower bouncing balls and smaller courts to engage youth, families, and intellectually challenged youth and adults in a sport for their lifetime. 

I am a graduate of Leadership Rockingham.  I am an experienced non-profit board leader currently serving as President of the Rockingham County Community Foundation.  Past Board board experience includes Annie Penn Hospital Foundation, USTA NC, Greater Columbus Tennis Association and Gaston County School of the Arts.  I teach American Mah Jongg - a popular, challenging tile game, following rules provided by the National Mah Jongg Association.
