Hello, fellow tennis enthusiasts!

The Western Tidewater Tennis Association (WTTA) hopes everyone is ready for tennis fun in 2022! 

In 2022, WTTA plans on offering lots of tennis: 

• USTA leagues, fun leagues, summer tri-level, Palooza Tournament, socials, junior clinics, and more! 

• The Cypress Cove Country Club hard courts are resurfaced and have blended pickleball lines. In addition, Ken is now a certified pickleball instructor, and there will be free pickleball clinics available. 

• We will continue to expand our programs into Suffolk.

In 2022, WTTA also plans on making a few changes:

• We will be implementing a new payment system for WTTA memberships and for league and event sign-ups via SERVE through USTA. There is no added expense and it helps us with tracking and efficiency. It will be similar to the process for USTA League sign-up, and we have already tested this with the Suffolk program. Instruction to come soon.

• Since our inception in 2011, we have grown tennis substantially, but we have not increased our rates even as our expenses have increased. To continue to cover our costs and provide the same programs and services, WTTA will be increasing prices as outlined below. We wanted to make you aware of this change as soon as possible, as we need your continued help in supporting WTTA to build and grow tennis in the Western Tidewater area.

WTTA Prices Effective January 1, 2022:

1. Ladies Night (6 weeks): $30

2. Big Man/Wonder Woman (6 weeks): $30

3. Summer Fun Tri-Level League (6 weeks): $60

4. Palooza Tournament Player Entry: $75

5. Tennis Socials: $15

6. WTTA Membership: $25/year single, $50/year family
