At T.R.I.N.I.T.Y. Tennis, we believe some of the most powerful moments in youth sports happen when a young player and a trusted adult step onto the court side by side.

This spring, we’re inviting families to do exactly that.

Our Red Ball Championship Day of Tennis on Saturday, May 9, 2026 is a high-energy adult–youth team event that celebrates teamwork, confidence, and connection. But championship confidence isn’t built in a single afternoon.

It’s built through preparation.

That’s why we’re offering opportunities for teams to learn, practice, and build confidence together leading up to Championship Day.

🎾 Tennis 101: Build the Foundation

Tennis 101 is the starting point for adult–youth teams learning how to play together using the Red Ball format.

These sessions introduce the basics of partner play and help teams feel comfortable competing side by side.

During Tennis 101, teams will:

• Learn rally fundamentals using Red Ball tennis
• Practice serving, scoring, and court positioning
• Build communication and teamwork between partners
• Gain confidence through simple, game-based activities

With smaller courts, slower balls, and simplified scoring, most teams can begin rallying and playing points within minutes.

Tennis 101 helps families and mentors step onto the court together and start building the skills needed for match play.

🔁 Practice Opportunities

In addition to Tennis 101 sessions, teams will have opportunities to continue practicing together before Championship Day.

These sessions allow players to:

• Reinforce rally and serving skills
• Practice scoring and match flow
• Build confidence competing with their partner
• Become comfortable playing on multiple courts

The goal is simple: help teams feel prepared, relaxed, and excited when Championship Day arrives.

Championship Day brings adult–youth teams together for an exciting afternoon of Red Ball tennis.

Teams will compete in timed round-robin matches across multiple courts, allowing everyone to play several matches throughout the event.

This format ensures:

• Minimal waiting between matches
• Multiple opportunities to compete
• Smooth court rotations
• A fun and energetic atmosphere for players and spectators

Youth volunteers from our Game Changers leadership program will assist with court management and score reporting to help the event run smoothly.

Families and spectators are encouraged to cheer on the teams and celebrate great rallies throughout the afternoon.

🏅 Championship Celebration

At the conclusion of match play, we’ll gather for a brief awards presentation.

We will recognize:

• Championship team
• Finalists
• Outstanding sportsmanship
• Effort and teamwork
