Summer Camp FAQ
Where is the drop-off location for the camp?
Drop-off is conveniently located at the pavilion at the beginning of the tennis courts. Look for our welcome sign and staff members who will greet you and your child.
What is the daily schedule like?
Our camp runs from 9 AM to 4 PM, with early drop-off starting at 8 AM and aftercare available until 5:30 PM. The majority of our day is spent outdoors enjoying various activities, with structured time indoors for rest, hydration, and indoor programs during rain. For detailed daily schedules, please visit our website.
Will activities be canceled due to bad weather?
No, we have a no-cancellation policy for rain. Instead, we've planned alternative indoor activities to ensure the fun continues, rain or shine.
Is there a swimming option?
Yes, we offer swimming activities. Please pack a change of clothes, swim trunks, and a towel for your child.
What should my child bring to camp?
We recommend packing a tennis racket, sunscreen, water bottle, towel, hat, an extra shirt, swim trunks for swimming days, and any specific sports equipment mentioned in our camp guidelines.
How does lunch work, and what about allergies?
Lunch is provided for campers attending full days. However, due to our inability to accommodate all dietary restrictions and allergies, we kindly ask parents of children with specific food allergies to pack a lunch.
Where and when is pickup?
Pickup is at the same location as drop-off, at the pavilion located at the beginning of the tennis courts. The pickup time is at 4 PM, with aftercare options available until 5:30 PM for those registered.
How does the camp ensure children stay hydrated and rested?
We prioritize the health and safety of all campers. Besides structured outdoor activities, we provide ample indoor rest periods throughout the day for campers to cool down, hydrate, and recharge.
What should my child wear to camp?
Comfort and safety are our top priorities when it comes to attire. We recommend that campers wear athletic clothing suitable for a variety of sports activities and weather conditions. Tennis shoes are a must for safety on the courts. On swimming days, please ensure your child arrives with their swimwear under their athletic clothes and brings a change of clothes for after swimming.
Does my child need a tennis racket?
Yes, each camper is required to bring their own tennis racket to camp. Having a personal racket helps the child get comfortable with the equipment they will be using to learn and play. If purchasing a racket is a concern, please reach out to us for recommendations on affordable options or to inquire about our limited lending program.
Will there be a snack break?
Our coaches take lots of breaks to encourage hydration, you are welcome to bring your own snacks. The campus does not provide snacks.
What background checks are done on staff?
Safeplay. Additional background checks and fingerprinting are required by the state of Florida.
Can I stay while my child is in camp?
Yes, our facility is public and there are plenty of walking and seating areas around the facility.
My player missed a day of the week, can we make up the missed day or have a refund for the missed day?
