The USTA Foundatoin has several opportunites for graduating seniors to apply for scholarships.

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS 

Have you dreamed of attending college?  Do you play tennis and have a 3.0 GPA?

The USTA Foundation can help.

The 2024 College Scholarship Program is now open until May 15, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET!

Complete an application and tell us why you deserve financial support to attend college. You will have a chance to talk about plans for the future and why your participation in NJTL programming has helped you prepare for college.

You could win up to $20,000 a year, over four years. (Scholarship awards can range from $5,000 to $20,000 per year, over four years)

  • Demonstrate academic achievement (3.0 minimum GPA)
  • Perform community/volunteer service
  • The USTA Foundation strategic goals includes providing scholarships to support tennis and youth development, with priority given to students who participated in enrolled National Junior Tennis and Learning organizations (“NJTL Chapters”).
  • Demonstrate significant financial need (verified during two stage process; utilizing Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) information)

The application form will be available in the Chapter Portal and can also be found HERE. The timeline for the 2024 USTA Foundation Scholarship is as follows: 

 

February 5, 2024 - Scholarship Application Opens

May 15, 2024 11:59ET - Scholarship Application Deadline

June 17, 2024 - Confirmation Form (Second Stage of the application)

July 1, 2024 - Award Notifications
