Youth tennis lessons and classes
Is your young player interested in playing tennis, wanting to train with teammates or looking to improve their ranking? Our programs are for the eager young player whether they have dreams of holding that trophy on center court of a grand slam or make some new friends. Our experienced staff is excited to work with your child. Our 10 and Under programs use all forms of low compression balls to ensure a fun, challenging, and social experience. Our Junior High and High School classes focus around technical skills and match play strategy, while our High-Performance classes are for the tournament player aspiring to play college tennis. At ETC we believe every player should be able to dream big and we are there to help them achieve their goals. We have helped players from all over the Midwest progress from level to level as they continue to learn to play the game, have fun and reach new highs!
Come join our programs and see first hand the improvements your child will make to their game as they continue to develop a love for the game of tennis. Our experienced staff will not only instruct and continue to work with the players, but they will also prepare them for the next level and class.
Red Ball: Ages 4-6
The introductory and age appropriate courts are designed to help student learn upper and lower body coordination. Fundamentals are key in this stage so players can begin to rally and controll the ball.

Orange Ball: Ages 7-8
The introductory and age appropriate courts are designed to help students learn upper and lower body coordination. Fundamentals are key in this stage so players can begin to rally and control the ball.

Green Ball: Ages 9-10
Students will continue to learn the proper grips, stances and swing paths. Players engage in more live ball controls. Continued focus on footwork and athletic ability through specific drills and exercises.

- Occasional 30 minute or 1 hour private lesson
- 10 and Under tournaments
Quickstart: Ages 11-18
Beginner to intermediate level players will learn all skills to develop a basic understanding of all tennis strokes to help them prepare for the upcoming Middle School or High School season.

Middle School Development
The Middle School class focuses on skill development specifically for intermediate to advanced intermediate players. Strong emphasis on competencies along with strategy through games and drills. This class meets with High School Development on Tuesday and Thursday.

High School Development
The High School class focuses on skill development specifically for intermediate to advanced intermediate players. Strong emphasis on competencies along with strategy through games and drills. This class meets with Middle School Development on Tuesday and Thursday.

Tournament Prep: Ages 10-18
PRO ADMIT REQUIRED: players are refining the fundamentals and have goals of playing college tennis. Players have clear technical, tactical, and emotional goals. Students will further develop through a series of challenging drills and match play. Players learn to problem solve and compete against all levels and game styles.
