Join the BCTA and USTA Middle States on Sunday, April 27, from 2 to 5 p.m. for a FREE interactive workshop on conducting tennis programs in local public parks. The workshop is geared toward parents, teachers, volunteers, senior high school/college students as well as experienced coaches looking for new ways to engage groups of varying skill levels and welcomes all tennis enthusiasts wishing to instill a passion for the game. A high level of tennis skill is NOT required.
USTA Lead Clinician Angela Jones will illustrate the necessary skills to coach, manage, and ensure learning tennis is fun with play-based coaching strategies! Meet current BCTA coaches and discover their passion for the game as well as benefit from their experiences. Mentoring time slots can be scheduled post-workshop to observe/participate in BCTA on-site coaching. The BCTA has plenty of openings for coaches in Bucks County public parks, and is always looking to grow its team!
