Abilene Tennis Association (ATA) Welcome to
About Us
The Mission of the Abilene Tennis Association (ATA) is to promote and develop the lifetime sport of tennis as a means of healthful recreation, physical fitness, social skill development and character building and to provide accessible tennis programming to players of all ages and abilities regardless of background, circumstance or lifestyle. Specifically, for youth tennis we will provide the opportunity for all young people in the area to develop tennis proficiency through participation in junior development programs, clinics and tournaments. We further will provide and support tennis activities throughout Abilene and the surrounding communities, promoting enthusiasm and instilling a passion for tennis for persons of all ages by conducting public tennis clinics, tennis lessons, tennis competitions and tennis tournaments and to provide for a healthy, congenial tennis environment in which people of all ages may come together for their mutual benefit, pleasure, health and enjoyment.
The ATA is a 501(c)(3) organization so donor contributions are tax deductible. We are a volunteer driven organization built around the values of accessibility, diversity, and the many benefits of playing tennis. The ATA is a USTA Community Tennis Association (CTA) and a member of the USTA Texas Section. We support all school tennis and community programs.
We appreciate the community's continued support of ATA, and encourage you to learn more about us and contact us to get involved and become a part of our organization.
