The South Texas Community Tennis Association (CTA) is dedicated to growing the game of tennis in our region by creating meaningful, positive experiences for junior players of all skill levels. Our mission is to promote play, growth, development, learning, and fun while fostering sportsmanship, confidence, and lifelong participation in tennis.
Each year, STX CTA organizes a series of junior tennis tournaments serving beginners through advanced players across South Texas. These events provide structured competition, valuable learning opportunities, and an inclusive environment where young athletes can develop both on and off the court.

- New Year Kickoff - Level 7 - Jan 31
- Spring Break Tournament - Level 6 Mar 29-28
- May Match Play - Level 7 - May 16
- Summer Kick-off Tournament - Level 6 - Jun 13-14
- June Junior Open - Level 7 - June 27
- Back-to-School Tournament - Level 6 - Aug 8-9
- Fall Futures Open - Level 6 - Oct 3-4
- Holiday Tournament - Level 7 - Dec 5
To ensure our tournaments remain accessible and affordable for families, CTA partners with local organizations to help offset costs associated with court rentals, certified officials, tennis balls, awards, and promotional items. Community sponsorship allows us to deliver high-quality events while keeping entry fees as low as possible. This allows for lower costs for greater participation and tournament waivers for those who would not otherwise be able to play.
