Welcome to the USTA's TEAM TEXAS Sectional Camp!

This exciting event is presented by the USTA Texas Section and scheduled to be held at the Falls Tennis and Athletic Club in Lubbock. The camp is open to both girls and boys born in the years 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012, (ages 11-14) with WTN Ratings ranging from 27 to 31. Out of the applicants, 12 girls and 12 boys will be chosen based on the strength of their WTN Ratings.

WHAT IS WTN?

The Camp is Scheduled for Friday, December 1st, running from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM.

CAMP SCHEDULE

4:30 to 5:00 - Welcome, Introductions, and Warm-Up

5:00 to 6:00 - On Court Group Coaching Centralized on the Geometry of the Court and How Shot Selection Relates to It

6:00 to 7:00 - Dinner for the Players During Class Room Work Session on How to Manage Tennis Emotional Challenges 

7:00 to 8:30 - Players on Court Match Play with Interactive Coaching by Camp Staff 

7:00 to 8:00 - Dinner and Educational Meeting for Parents on How to Play Their Optimal Role in their Childrens Tennis

8:30 to 8:45 - Players Grouped on Court for Dynamic and Motivational Group Games

8:45 to 9:00 - On Court Closing Review, Players Recognition, and Camp Photos

The Cost for the Camp Inclusive of All On-Court Coaching, Off-Court Educational Sessions, Dinner for Players and Parents, and TEAM TEXAS Shirt is $89.
