Coach Paula grew up in Charleston, West Virginia. She played on
the Charleston Junior Davis Cup Team as a youth and on the
Lynchburg College Tennis Team. In 1982 she was the tennis
director for Camp Sequoya, in a Bristol , Virginia.

Paula has her teaching certification with PTR and is the Director
for the Morgan County Tennis Association in Berkeley Springs,
West Virginia where she has instructed tennis for twenty five
years. She coached the Berkeley Springs High School Tennis
Team for fifteen years. Through the years, she has helped
encourage players to connect with other professional coaches
and players in the area.

She received a Lifetime Governor’s Service Award in 2018 for her
work in community tennis. In 2014 the USTA Mid-Atlantic
awarded the Morgan County Tennis Association its Organization
of the Year Award.
