LATA Family Fun Day
Join us for Family Fun Day of tennis at the Lima Parks-Collett Street Tennis Courts. The program will be held Tuesday, July 1st from 6:00-7:30pm. The program is FREE to all who attend. For more details and register, CLICK HERE.
USTA Girls and Boys Tournaments
LATA will be hosting USTA Girl's 14, Girls 16 and Boys 12 Tournaments this year. The tournaments will be held at the UNOH Tennis Courts in Lima, Ohio. CLICK HERE for more details and to register.
Lima Area Tennis Association
The Lima Area Tennis Association (LATA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and USTA member whose primary goal is to promote and develop the growth of tennis in the Lima area for people of all ages. By providing facilities, equipment, encouragement, coaching, and instruction, we strive to develop players' tennis capabilities thereby benefiting individual personal health and welfare.
2025 LATA Lima City Open Tournament
The annual Lima City Open, an official UTR event for the first time ever was held June 6 - 8 at the UNOH tennis complex in Lima, Ohio, It was a fun and competetive weekend of tennis for all participants and spectators with events held in men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles. Our Memorials
In honor of tennis advocates in our community, LATA planted trees and installed park benches at the Collett Street Tennis Courts. We now have a beautiful memorial plaque located at Westwood Tennis and Fitness.

Your membership will support our scholarships and programs.
Scholarship Program - LATA has awarded local high school seniors
a monetary scholarship for continually volunteering at the Collett Street programs. In addition, scholarships are given specifically for further tennis development. This program is provided as funds allow.
Programs - The LATA programs include Summer Tennis Camp ∙ LATA Winter Camps ∙ Tennis Fun Nights ∙ Lima Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Junior Tournaments ∙ USTA Sanctioned Tournaments.
