Lakeshore Community Tennis Association - Camps

Lakeshore Tennis Academy

We are excited to start another great summer of tennis for the Lakeshore area.  We are starting June 3 for the 6th-12th Graders and June 10 for the K-6th Graders with the last day of the season will be August 1.  We are off July 4th week.  All grades are based on the grade the player will be in for Fall 2024.  6th Graders can go into either the 9-10am group or the 10-1pm groups based on if they can play a full set with a yellow ball on their own yet.  It is always better to start at the 9-10am group if you do not know and then we can move them up if needed.

All of our programs allow for players to comfortably come and go weekly.  We run most of our 9-10am groups (especially the K-3rd grade group) by stations where we place players in groups based on levels and ages with each short station being a drill or game working on specific drill (where often the kids don't even know that they are working on something really good for them - they just know they are having fun).  Each week we do work on the main strokes during these stations so if a player does come in the 4th week, they can jump in without any issues.  In fact, we expect that.  We do not expect anyone to make every day of the summer.  But the price break is pretty good after about 4 weeks so if you plan to join that many weeks or more, we have offer a good option for you.

This year is a discount for the all-summer options if you register by April 1.  This helps us set up our staff needs earlier in the spring.

We will be offering weekly and all-summer options.  Our program is called "Lakeshore Camp" above, but it really is the same great Lakeshore Academy (the navigation only allowed 15 characters, therefore some places it is called "Camp").

You can register for the all-summer option. Just click on the correct group and at the bottom of the options you will see the all summer option to select.  We do have limited space in all options so please register early to reserve your spot.
