Junior and Adult Matchplay
Junior and Adult Matchplay are ways to sharpen your tennis skills in real match scenarios. Throughout the summer, we will have two matchplay ladders; one for juniors and one for adults. A matchplay ladder is a competitive format that allows players to challenge each other and advance up the rankings throughout the summer.
JUNIOR MATCHPLAY:
Junior Matchplay will take place on Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:00 pm starting June 25. The goals of junior matchplay are to give players match experience. While it is still a competitive program and players are striving to work their way up the ladder, the main goal of junior matchplay is to develop matchplay skills. The price is $50/session and each player is guaranteed two matches.
ADULT MATCHPLAY:
Adult matchplay works slightly differently. At the start of the summer, all participants will be seeded. Over the course of the summer, players are trying to work their way to the top of the ladder by challenging and beating those above them. Match times need to be worked out and agreed upon between the two players and Future Stars. The cost for adult matchplay is $25 per person per match.
