Players Needed for Upcoming Tri-Level Tennis League

Local tennis players age 18 and over are invited to join an exciting upcoming tri-level league. Organizers are currently seeking players with a NTRP rating between 3.0 and 4.0 to form two men’s teams and two women’s teams.

Each team must include a minimum of:

• Two 3.0-rated players

• Two 3.5-rated players

• Two 4.0-rated players

Matches will follow a competitive format, with players competing in the best two out of three sets. If a third set is needed, it will be decided by a 10-point tiebreaker.

League play begins Sunday, May 17, and will run through June 21, with matches scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. each Sunday. Any rainouts will be rescheduled for a later date.

At the conclusion of league play, the winning team will advance to the State Championship in Knoxville, scheduled for September 11–13.

Participants must have a current United States Tennis Association (USTA) membership, which costs approximately $40. The tri-level league registration fee is approximately $30. Players on the winning team will also be responsible for an additional fee to compete during championship weekend.
