A Community Tennis Association (CTA) is a local organization that is part of the USTA network that promotes and develops the growth of tennis.  We are made up of tennis enthusiasts interested in seeing the game of tennis grow in their local .community

CATA is located in Montgomery, AL and began in 2004 as a volunteer-based tennis organization with essential charitable and educational purposes. Our focus: (1) to promote and develop the growth of tennis in the Central Alabama area; (2) to educate the community concerning the importance and the benefits of tennis; (3) to expand the opportunities in the community for learning tennis especially to individuals who do not have access to tennis; and (4) to provide programs and services in the community that teach participants scholarship and fair play. We encourage and provide a variety of educational and charitable tennis programs throughout the local community.  In 2020 CATA was awarded the Community Tennis Association of the Year.
