THE CCTA Executive Board has been carefully monitoring the rise in COVID 19 pandemic cases in the Coastal Bend. In evaluating the situation, the board has decided to cancel the 18+ over USTA league that was to start July 13th, for the safety for our players. This decision did not come lightly and there were many discussions over the last week with players, pros, team captains and staff. Your league fees not only pay for the leagues themselves, but support all of our other programming such as Hot Shots, NJTL (Tennis Success), Middle School Initiatives, and Special Olympics to name a few. The cancellation of leagues and tournaments is detrimental to the CCTA, so we do understand any disappointments you may have.
Refunds for the 18+ league will be processed starting July 15th. If you would like to make a tax deductible donation to the CCTA by forfeiting your league refund, please email Megan Gordon - CCTA Executive Director at: Director@cctaonline.org before July 15th. In your email please include your full name, team name and level you were playing. If we do not receive an email, your refund will be processed automatically.
