Gary and Edward met with Capital Area Tennis Association
Fernando - Exec. Director, Casey - Dir Adult Leagues, Ana - Dir social media

RE: Thier ideas on growing USTA Leagues:

Coaches and pros are critical.
Show them how to monetize USTA Leagues
They Can use USTA to entice new members - membership dirve
Offer a banner for the Pro and Facilitiy for Team Accomplishments
Have a sponsored "get together" for all the area pros and directors (paid for by comprehensive grant)

Use Anthony at USTA-TX who does a webinar for all the section ALCs every Wednesday.
We could offer "Continuing Education" and incentive to involve and engage our Captains.
Captains are critical. Groom, encourage, reward, motivate and train them.

Do more Weekend leagues
Or Perhaps Morning leagues for Ladies

Use Flyers in targetted emails as quick flashy informaiton
Target each seqment appropriately:
Facebook for this group, Instagram for that group. Email Blasts (MailChimp) ...
Use the built in metrics in these media to guage effectiveness and spur improvement in contact
(Meta in Facebook, Insights in Instagram, stats from MailChimp)

Keep engaging. Use Graphics to attract. Young people will "want" reels (video)
Segment and engage different groups in different ways for effectiveness

Weekend events.

Encourage beginners : Lonestar (what about the men?) Spring, Fall, Summer, Holiday leagues ?
Beginners are excited, motivated and funded. They will spend on entry. fees, lessons, and leagues

CATA, one and all, is available for ideas and to help us.
