Minutes of Officers and Board Meeting, April 10, 2017

1. 11:30 Meeting called to order

2. Standing Items:

   1. Approved minutes from previous meeting

   2. Treasurer's report and financial review approved as presented

   3. 11:38 League reviews: USTA adult & JTT <HL> Adult Stats and JTT Stats

      1. JTT participation doubled from last year. NETX JTT to commence in the fall. Some expenses still to be submitted: balls, awards.

      2. Adult leagues 18+ down slightly, Ladies were higher but men were lower by 35 players or 3 teams. 55+ also slightly lower. Strong leadership from tennis directors and captains makes the leagues successful.

   4. Report from YEC, <HL>Ike 

   5. Reviewed we will bid for adult sectionals as appropriate.
      Sectionals are being hosted by other areas in 2017.

3. New Business

   1. Approved new agreement with Ike for his continuing involvement as a Youth Engagement Coordinator. <HL>sample agreement 
      Ike's agreement included $500 stipend for minimum 10 hours (only 2 on Lindale) and a minimum of 3 different events.
      Ike was involved in March with JTT as part of previous compensation and has plans for April to meet his new agreement.

   2. Approved $100 for TCTA equipment bag replenish. HotShots-GTG Grant, TSR, USPTA pro volunteer

   3. Courts painted at Tyler Athletic & Swim. Tours available soon. Facility is a must see.

4. Board Meeting:

   1. Approved Change of Snail Mail address from Faulkner Tennis Park to
      7 Pebble Creek Drive, Longview, TX 75605

5. Ending Items:

   1. Next meeting is June 5th.

   2. 12:04 Meeting Adjourned followed by further discussion of maintaining and growing leagues and recap of Andrea's trip to USTA National at Lake Nona.
