Minutes from Officers and Coordinators Meeting on April 19, 2023

Present were: Gary, Judy, Jim, Edward, Melissa

1. 11:00 meeting called to order - treasurer's report approved as presented
2. Tournament/fundraiser recap and discussion of changes to personnel at our area clubs. 
3. 132 players at Regionals hosted at Cascades and run by Chris and Melissa last week
4. Succession strategy for Secretary/Webmaster and Treasurer - when, who, how to recruit
5. Leagues are doing good - how do we ease in and educate  captains and (new) players
6. 11:19 Hope open. 88 tennis players signed up. Pickleball will be at Hollytree. Opening ceremonies at TASC
   $250 NETX to set up table with water & bananas and our info at Cascades
7. Update our web pages to be more user friendly 
8. $150 to support Cinco de Mayo event at Faulkner (water and sports drinks)
9. 11:36 $150 to support Special Olympics May 6th with water and bananas ...
10. 11:51 $2,000 for 100 league captains gifts 
11. $ allocated for League winning team bag tags. Gary to judge quantity for price; about 200 tags 
12. League Players' party tentatively scheduled for October 7th. 
13. $ + $ left over for a Sportsmanship Award at player's party in Melody's Honor
14. $750 for six more weeks of Rally for Health. (and formalize informal email vote to pay $125/wk for 1st six weeks) 
15. Jim to be our goodwill ambassador to TASC. How can we help or augment their ATP and WTA events? Kids' Day, field trips, player chauffeurs, ball kids... ? ?
