Registration will open soon for the 2024 season.  Get ready for another season of fun and competition!  We will send an email when registration is activated, with all the details needed.  But here are a few key pieces of information for now:

• JOSH HADLER SETTING UP REGISTRATION:  Josh Hadler is getting things ready in the ServeTennis software to receive registrations for the season.  We will notify you as soon as we have that feature on the site ready.
• SEASON START DATE:  Monday, June 3, times to be announced after registrations are complete.
• EARLIER TOURNAMENT:  We will play the season-ending tournament in late July, so we don’t interfere with the varsity girls’s tennis season, or students leaving for college.  Dates to be announced soon.
• PREPARE FOR REGISTRATION:  Until registration is open, you can take these steps to prepare.  Be thinking about the flight you prefer to play.  Start making plans to select your doubles partner (if you play doubles).  And this is NEW - identify any Mondays you know you can’t play (such as known vacations).  There will be an opportunity when registering to notify us of those dates, and Josh is going to do his best to not schedule people on those notified dates IF they are submitted before registration ends.  So get those dates listed so you are ready!
• COURT RESURFACING COMING:  Watertown Park & Rec plans to resurface Belmont Courts this summer, likely in July.  That will mean a fresh playing surface, new nets, and a complete refresh for the courts!  We will work around that by rescheduling any matches for Belmont over to a different night of the week at Highland.  Details to be announced later in June when we know the resurfacing dates.  The Highland courts will get the same resurfacing treatment in 2025.  Exciting!
• PICKLEBALL LINES:  Watertown Park & Rec will add some additional pickleball lines to the Highland courts this summer, to allow more outdoor pickleball until the complex at the Wellness Center is constructed.  Just FYI.
