A portion of the dues paid for Watertown Tennis Summer League is saved each year to make it possible to support the need for new tennis equipment.   In the past, we’ve also contributed to the cost of court resurfacing projects, but more recently it’s a variety of smaller things!  We thought you’d like to know where that money goes.

In the last five years, Watertown Tennis Association has contributed over $5000 to the following items:

• Extra tennis balls for the high school teams

• Absorbent towels for drying off the courts after a rain

• Court numbering signs which serve as corporate sponsor locations

• Cedar player benches, and the stain for preserving them every year or two

• Competition shirts for the tennis teams

• Ball “mowers” used for collecting tennis balls after practice

• Most recent donation: 1/4-zips for the tennis team (pictured on some of the players below)
