USTA Northern is partnering with the Asian American Pacific Islander Tennis Association (AAPITA) to host a community tennis open house celebrating Asian and Pacific Island heritage. The event is open to all community members.

Come and join us at Eastview Recreation Center for a day of fun that includes a panel featuring Vania King, red ball tennis, and a local Asian-owned food truck. 

Vania King is a former doubles Grand Slam champion, winning Wimbledon and US Open titles in 2010. Vania reached a career high ranking of #3 in the world for women's doubles and #50 women's singles. Vania is of Taiwenese heritage, and currently serves as the board president of AAPITA. She also serves as the Executive Director of Serving Up Hope.
