Ages 7 – 10, 11-12. Green balls are played on the full-size tennis court but bounce slower and lower than the yellow ball, allowing players more time and an easier ball to reach. Green ball is typically played for a short transition for players who learned technique in orange ball while they adapt to the larger court, or it may be used longer as a learning tool for older kids than are tall enough to start at a beginner level on a full size court.

Green ball will be divided into 2 groups; players that are already competitive tournament players who are transitioning from orange ball, and players that are novice level 11–12-year-old players. Please contact our staff before registering players 10 and under for this class, they must pass the NetGen requirements for green ball and be green ball rated on their USTA profile for tournament play.
