Ages 7 - 10. Orange balls bounce higher and move faster than the Red balls but lower and slower than the Green ball. They are probably the most important step toward the traditional yellow tennis ball while still remaining fun and manageable for players learning the game. Courts at this level are 60' x 21' (40% smaller than a full size tennis court), allowing players to learn to play full court tennis on a court that is size appropriate for their age. The slower movement of the ball and the easily visible rotation from the 2-tone ball helps players focus on their stroke development, that is often made more difficult/slower when players move into the traditional yellow ball and full size court too early.

Like the red ball class, players in this class will learn the basics of tennis strokes, including volleys, ground strokes, serves and slices. As players advance, they will progress into tennis tactics and match play.
