The adult league is a men's and women’s adult doubles league.
The league began in the 1990’s when a
bunch of people wanted to have a good time playing tennis on a regular
basis and improve their games through practice and sportsman-like
competitiveness. The league has been and still is organized, maintained
and played by volunteers who donate their precious time to make things
happen. The league continues all year around.

Contact:  For interested players, there are two leagues. The “A” League is
comprised of 3.5-4.0 USTA-equivalent rated players, and the “B” League is
3.0. USTA-equivalent. A player does not have to have a USTA membership
or to be rated in order to join the SVTA Leagues.
Interested players can contact:
“A” League: email Tina Story at tina.abshier@gmail.com
“B” league: email Ann May at annmay.wa@gmail.com

Location: League matches are played at the Skagit Valley College outdoor
lighted, covered tennis courts.
League Fees: The fees cover the cost of court rental and game balls and
are dependent upon how many courts need to be rented each month or
three-month session. The current cost for court rental for a 90 minute
segment is $15.00.
The revenue goes towards Skagit Valley College student scholarships and
court maintenance.
League Matches: The “A” League plays on Sundays at 4:30 and 6:00pm,
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 and 7:30pm.
The “B” League plays on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6 and 7:30pm.
Rules and Sportsmanship: The league follows USTA rules “with grace.”
Players are to treat each other with respect—no profanity, racquet throwing
or anger outbursts. Show up on time. Help keep the courts in good shape.
Each player is responsible for obtaining a substitute from the player contact
list if he/she needs to miss their scheduled match.
