Local Volunteering Opportunities

In addition to our own Section events, USTA Texas is proud to support events and opportunities happening in communities across the state.

Are you ready to serve your community? Check out the list below for volunteering opportunities across the state.

Fall Adaptive Tennis

Dallas Tennis Association

September 3 – December 19 (days vary)

Morning and afternoon shifts (1 hr)

45 volunteers needed per week (ages 16+)

Adaptive programs provide the Dallas Tennis community with the opportunity to partner with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to foster independence through a recreational initiative. Volunteers bring the joy of tennis, physical activity, and friendship to adaptive program participants. Dallas Tennis provides all the equipment. Adaptive Tennis is led by pros but relies heavily on volunteers to make the classes effective given the amount of one-on-one work that it requires.

3 shifts available (4 hrs)

30+ total volunteers (ages 15+)
