USTA Texas is continuing its relationship with Special Olympics for over 25 years by directing the tennis portion of the Area 2 Games in Corpus Christi. Special Olympics Tennis includes skills for new athletes and match play in singles, doubles, and unified doubles. 

Athletes from the Corpus Christi SOTX Area will be competing at this event.

SPECIFIC ROLES

• Ball Chasers: Quickly chase balls between points
• Ball Tossers (skills only): Accurately toss balls to athletes 
• Scorekeepers: Record score

ELIGIBILITY & CRITERIA

• Basic knowledge and understanding of the rules of tennis
• A fun, energetic, and positive attitude!
