About this league

The Knoxville Spring Men's 3.5-Above singles league is a fun, social tennis league for players ages 18 and above.

Players in this league should have an NTRP rating of 3.5 or above. If you are not sure what your rating is, please see the following USTA NTRP Guidelines:

Match results in this league WILL NOT AFFECT a players USTA NTRP rating and USTA MEMBERSHIP IS NOT REQUIRED.

Matches will be played on TUESDAYS 7:30-9:00 pm at either Tyson Tennis Center or West Hills Tennis Center

League Dates: May 13, 20, 27, June 3, 10

Deadline to Sign up: May 12th, 11:59 pm

Match Time: Tuesdays @ 7:30 pm

League Cost: $35/per player (5 Week Session)

League rules

1. League matches will be played at either Tyson Tennis Center (2351 Kingston Pike) OR West Hills Tennis Center (410 N. Winston Rd)

2. Matches will be best 2 out of 3 sets, regular scoring, with a 10-point tiebreak played for 3rd set.

3. Players are responsible for match balls each week. Person shown to the left of the schedule provides a NEW CAN of tennis balls for the match that week. Balls may be purchased in the tennis office for $4/can.

4. League fee only covers the court fee for matches played at the actual league date/time. Any match that is moved to an earlier time or another date will not have court fees covered by league fee...COURT FEES WILL APPLY TO ANY MATCH TIME/DATE CHANGE. Player requesting match reschedule should be responsible for court fees, unless opponent agrees to pay half.

5. If a player cannot make a match, player is responsible for letting opponent know AHEAD OF TIME...not at the last minute. A player contact list will be sent out the first week of league.

7. League fee will cover any match rescheduled due to inclement weather.
