Selection, Seeding and waterfall by World Tennis Number (WTN)
If draws are limited, selection will be based on the most current WTN List (high confidence factor only) for that division. Seeding for draws will use each player’s current WTN rating (high confidence factor only), while Round Robin Draws will not be seeded. If divisions are split into multiple groups (e.g. 32 players into two groups of 16 each), the groups will be waterfalled based on each player’s current WTN using only WTN ratings with a high confidence rating (dark blue check mark). WATERFALL is a method of distributing players into separate draws so that each draw or team is of similar overall strength.
