This summer MiffCo Tennis is offering programs for kids 10 to 14 year olds. We will have a beginner to advanced beginner class labeled Orange Ball. The court is smaller and the balls are bigger and slower than a regular tennis ball. Titles of some of the lessons include:
- Put the Ball Where I Want (Placing the ball in different spots)
- Serve Plus 1 (Serve, return, trap)
- Watch Me Volley (Different kind of shot, taking it "out of the air", when you are at the net)
2nd class is labeled Green Ball. Court is regular size and balls are deader, but same size as regular balls Titles of some of the Green Ball Lessons are:
- Hit It Heavy (Changing Direction on Groundstrokes)
- Drop It (Hitting the ball just over the net and dropping on the other side)
- Three Spots (Direct ball to center and outside of the court)
