Tracy Lawson

Tracy Lawson has been teaching and coaching for 20 years and her particular passion is working with young players to develop a love of tennis while teaching a strong athletic, technical and tactical foundation. Tracy is certified by the USPTA, Safe Play and is an approved Net Generation provider. 

She was selected by the USTA as a Net Generation Coach Ambassador and is one of 20 coaches nationwide on the Net Generation Workshop Faculty.  As a consultant for USTA Player Development, Tracy has written curriculum and standards for the USTA Net Generation Early Development Camps and has been a Lead Faculty for camps since 2012. Tracy is recognized as a leader in US junior tennis, as chair of the USTA Southwest Section Junior Competition Committee and Coaches Commission; and as Vice-Chair of USTA National Junior Competition.  She was the USPTA Southwest’s 2019 recipient of the Star Award, the 2020 recipient of the Industry Excellence Award, the 2022 Proud Award, and was one of only 50 in America's Top Coach Contest by Tennis Channel in 2021.  

Tracy has three children, all of whom play tennis: Kelsey played for DePaul University; Alex was an All-American at the University of Notre Dame and is currently playing on the ATP Tour as well as on the coaching staff at NC State; and Zach is a filmmaker currently living in LA.
