Adult beginner tennis is a class designed specifically for adults who are new to the sport of tennis. These sessions typically focus on introducing fundamental skills such as grip, stance, footwork, and basic strokes (forehand, backhand, volley, and serve). Instruction also covers rules, scoring, and basic strategies of the game. The emphasis is on creating a supportive and encouraging environment where adults can learn at their own pace, build confidence, and develop a solid foundation in tennis. Classes include drills, practice games, and structured exercises tailored to the needs of beginners. The goal is to provide a fun and enjoyable experience that fosters a love for the sport and prepares participants to eventually play matches and continue improving their tennis skills. By the end of each round of sessions, we encourage each cohort to join our beginner league and use their new skills to continue on in their tennis careers!
