About this program
USTA Tennis 101 is designed for new players or returning players to have fun and learn (or even re-learn) the sport. Each class during this 6-session program includes engaging and interactive tennis activities plus fun games so you can build your skills. Participants who complete the program will possess the fundamental skills in order to be confident in enjoying tennis. You do not need any prior tennis experience to enjoy USTA Tennis 101.

What to expect from Tennis 101
USTA Tennis 101 is designed specifically for new players to the game. Through this 8-session program, junior participants will participate in fun games, learn character growth principles and work on their athletic development. Participants who complete the program will possess the fundamental skills in order to be confident in enjoying tennis. You do not need any prior tennis experience to enjoy USTA Tennis 101.
Junior Tennis 101 is meant for junior beginner tennis players that are 6-8 years old. No prior tennis experience needed. We will be using the red colored training balls and the 36 foot net catered to 10 and under tennis players.
What to bring?
- 19-21 inch junior tennis racquet
- athletic shoes
- water container (fountain located near the courts for refills)
- fun attitude ready to enjoy learning tennis
