Evansville Community Tennis Association is a 501C3 not for profit organization dedicated to growing tennis in the Evansville area. The Evansville Community Tennis Association was created in 2000 when the Evansville Area Tennis Patrons (an organization supporting junior tennis) and The Evansville Tennis Club (adults) combined forces to better serve the local tennis community.. Our mission is simple -- to grow tennis in the region.
About us
History The Evansville Community Tennis Association (ECTA) is a 501c(3) non profit. ECTA, Evansville NJTL, and Evansville Tennis Center aim to provide tennis and pickleball to our community. Our facilities, both the Evansville Tennis Center and Wesselman Tennis Center are open to the public year round. ECTA has invested nearly $5 million into both facilities and continues to re-invest into the community. Our events, tournaments, programs, classes and facilities serve over 3,000 players annually.
Since 2012 ECTA has an estimated economic impact of $5.2 million. Evansville Community Tennis Association helps organize and run USTA Adult Leagues, Junior Team Tennis, Middle School Leagues, Youth Tennis Programs, Community tennis events, Tournaments, Pickleball and many more events each year. Mission The mission of ECTA is simple, to grow tennis in our community. We alo embrace and support Pickleball.
Focus and Impact
We are a sports based youth development organization and tennis is our sport of choice. We strive to make a difference in the lives of youth in our community through tennis and education. We are privileged to be supported by the USTA Foundation and local as well as regional partners in support of our mission.
