What to expect from Team Challenge
Team Challenge is a low pressure team environment that allows children to develop their skills through level based play without an emphasis on instruction or results. Players will enjoy free play, cooperative play, and team competition with short timed matches. Participants are expected to at least drop hit serve and sustain a modified rally to participate.

The DC Department of Parks and Recreation event will provide a fun and social environment that highlights character and skill development.
Team Challenge is designed to give children of all ages a chance to develop their tennis skills through level-based play, without an emphasis on instruction or results, within a relaxed low-pressure team environment. Red, Orange, Green and Yellow ball courts for all levels along with some music kicking out beats in the background. And, we’ll have a court for the tiny ones to have some fun too!
USTA Mid-Atlantic will be in attendance and there will be chances to win prizes including tickets to the Citi Open. And, a virtual meet and greet with a Citi Open Tennis Professional.
