Jr. Team Tennis is a great way for middle school students (and high school freshmen!)  to learn the game of tennis by playing in a fun, low-pressure league. The league is open to children age 7-14, as of May 20, 2024.

Signing up for the program entitles a student to join a team and play in a season of six team matches. Matches are played on Monday evenings, and begin on Monday, April 15th. We'll use Thursday evenings for rain dates.

Your $25.00 registration fee (plus $3.15 transaction fee paid to USTA) pays for a team t-shirt, balls for league matches, and awards at the end of the season.

The league will be divided into three divisions:a 10-and-under "orange-ball" division, a 12-and-under "green-ball" division, and a 14-and-under "yellow-ball" division. 

Players will be placed on teams in such a manner that each team has a mix of experienced and beginning players, giving each team a reasonable chance to succeed. Four to six players will be assigned to each team.

Registration opens on February 1st, and will close on Monday, April 8th.  

Please understand that there is no "instruction" component to the league, other than that which is gained by playing the matches under the guidance and supervision of adult and high school "team managers". If your child wants to take lessons or clinics, those are available under the Instruction tab our website.

Also, please understand that, if we do not have sufficient numbers to have a viable league in each age-group, we reserve the right to combine age-groups in a single flight. 

Registration takes place online through the USTA's TennisLink system. USTA membership is required to participate, but USTA membership for juniors is now free for all players under age 18.
