Men's & Women's NTRP divisions for all matches will play 2 regular sets with a "match tie-break" up to 10 in lieu of a third set. Regular scoring with ads.
This event will use the "Pro Penn Marathon" Ball.
Registering early encourages other interested parties to sign up as well. If plans change, you can always withdraw your registration prior to the registration deadline expressed above. Though payment information is requested upon registration, you are not charged for the event until registration has closed and you are selected for the event. No refunds will be issued for players withdrawing from the tournament either six days before its start date or after selections have been finalized–whichever comes later.
In the event of inclement weather or other external hindrances, every possible measure will be taken to ensure the completion of the entire tournament. This may include adjusting match formats or scoring methods as deemed necessary by the tournament committee.
If, despite these efforts, the tournament committee deems the impact of such hindrances as too severe, the committee reserves the right to request a new sanctioned date on which to conclude the tournament from the governing body, the Southern California Tennis Association.
Refunds will not be provided if the tournament format is shortened or modified to combat external circumstances hindering play. However, if the tournament is entirely canceled or rescheduled before a player completes their first match, the player is entitled to a 75% refund (after deducting fees). The remaining 25% shall remain with the tournament committee in consideration of the administrative and organizational expenses already incurred.
Once a player completes their first match, no refund will be granted.
The fee for electronic entries is non-refundable and independent of the entry fee.
