The Super 8 Singles Tournament helped send this tennis season off with a bang! We had two highly competitive divisions for the Men’s A and B, and great tennis to be seen in both.

In the Men’s A Division, Dave Johnston and Thomas Greene battled it out all the way through a tiebreaker, with Dave ultimately securing the victory 7-6 and taking home first place!

The Men’s B Division was just as competitive with multiple matches needing tiebreakers to decide a winner. In the end it came down to Jahmar Perkins and Greg Herbek for the championship, however. After much back and forth, Jahmar prevailed with a 6-4 victory and took home the prize and bragging rights!

After the singles tournaments wrapped up a few players stayed around for a competitive doubles pro-set. The A division featured Dave Johnston and Cambridge Thayer playing against Thomas Greene and Brian Wyatt. Dave and Cambridge came out on top though after some amazing points played out. 

On the B Division side Jahmar Perkins and Brittany Smith teamed up against Anjin Chang and Nathan Carroll. It was back and forth the entire match but eventually Jahmar and Brittany secured the win.
