Clarksville's Anna Marie Adams takes second in the L5 CORTA Georgia Junior  Clay Court Open, Cantrell finishes in consolation round of 16.

Anna Marie Adams battled hard to finish as a finalist in the main draw in Columbus GA, her first L5 final appearance.   The weekend was tough, fighting the conditions as well as some very tough competition.  Anna Marie stayed composed and resilient in her efforts and it afforded her a final appearance. Adams also placed 4th in doubles competiton, after her partner was forced to witdraw with an injury.  

Kelton Cantrell lost his first round match in the main draw, and had one win in the conslations before being dismissed by a very tough opponet in the consolation round of 16.  

Adams and Cantrell are progressing every day and our tennis community is certainly proud of their efforts in competition.
