With great sadness, we share the news that our beloved BCTA coach, benefactor, and friend Carol White passed  away February 28. The cause of her death was breast cancer.  Carol was an avid tennis player, coach and volunteer who gave way more than she received. Not only was she a BCTA coach, volunteer and benefactor, but she also coached high school and college tennis. Never without a smile, Carol was a positive influence on players and peers alike. To say she was a joy to be around is an understatement.

We continue to keep her husband Jim, her two sons, and her entire family in our thoughts and prayers.  We cannot fully express what Carol’s loss means to us. She was a very special person, an amazing coach, and a faithful, caring friend who is gone way too soon. She is greatly missed by so many. 

Carol's family has established a memorial fund to preserve Carol's memory in the tennis community where she was so dearly loved. Tax-deductible donations should be made payable to the Bucks County Tennis Association, Inc., and mailed to 11 Bellwood Drive, Langhorne, PA 19053. Please indicate on the check “In memory of Carol White.”  All donations will be acknowledged  to Carol’s family and plans are being made for a memorial in her name.
